No Churn Ice Cream Recipe
I don’t know about you, but I’m not looking for more kitchen appliances or trinkets to take up counter space. Ice cream makers serve a wonderful purpose but are NOT necessary to create delicious frozen ice cream. No churn is the way to go!
My no churn ice cream does not use sweetened condensed milk like a lot of other recipes out there. Instead, it is basically an ice cream/yogurt hybrid. Heavy whipping cream, strawberry Greek yogurt, vanilla bean paste (or extract), graham cracker crumbs, fresh strawberries, and dark chocolate bring the flavors of strawberry pie to the creamy treat without unnecessary sugar or fussy egg custard.

I Scream, You Scream…
I definitely recommend using a stand mixer or electric hand mixer to make this recipe. Trying to whisk by hand is going to make your arm hurt quite a bit. Whisking by hand will add about 10 more minutes to this recipe as well. I just threw the cream in my stand mixer and was set. The key is trying to get as much air in the mixture as you can so that you’re not left with a frozen block at the end. An airtight container is also very important for storing the dessert.

- Cutting board
- Knife
- Airtight container

- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cups strawberry Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp vanilla bean paste (or extract)
- 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup diced strawberries
- 4 oz 85% dark chocolate – broken into pieces
Process:
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment or a large mixing bowl with a hand held mixer, add the cream, vanilla, and salt. Beat on high until stiff peaks form

Using a rubber spatula, gently fold in the Greek yogurt, graham cracker crumbs, and chocolate. Once almost entirely incorporated, hull and dice strawberries and fold into mixture.

Line airtight container with plastic wrap. Use spatula to pour/scoop mixture into airtight container and store in the freezer until firm – I usually freeze overnight. Will keep for up to a month in airtight container in freezer.
